I was intrigued by this stone because it has endured 152 years of facing the westerly winds, winter weather and blazing sun and doesn't seem to be as worn down as others. It is located in the Old Cemetery.
Isabelle [Wright]Davids was born 1827 in England. She was the wife of Joseph Davids b 1830 in St.Johns New Brunswick Canada. They had one known son, Alexander B. b 1852 in Michigan. Joseph married Mercy E. Johnson in 1858 and had several children and lived in Ravenna, Mercy died in 1878. Joseph then married Laura Tiffany in July of 1880. Joseph died in 1882.
