Mappy Monday, 1866 Alberts & Enos Subdivision Ravenna Village

Sometimes on a Monday I will feature a map of the Ravenna area...the area also consisting of surrounding townships which all were a part of the community.

This is the 1866 Village of Ravenna map focusing on the Alberts & Enos Subdivision, within the perimeters of Thomas Street[east] to Stafford Street[north] to John Street[west] to Adams Street[south], Adams now known as Crockery Creek Drive. This subdivision was in Block 12 of the earlier 1877 village map [to be posted at a later date]. There were 84 residential lots laid out. My own property is within this subdivision, and we never realized this was divided into sections so early, we really thought it was more like the 1930's or 1940's...we all learn something new every day!
